My friend Espresso Buzz wanted to get dim sum one Saturday, so we headed out for Sun Ya. I wanted to experiment with the lazy susans that are on the larger tables and voila!
I have to admit, I am loving these long exposures. Happy shooting this weekend everyone, I look forward to seeing your work! Mahalo.

This is amazing. The longer I look, the more I see. It’s almost like a movie running in my head when I look at it. And I’m very impressed by the perfect exposure too. Great work Jana.
Do you have more?
Have a lovely weekend!

This is wild! I’m sitting here “omigod, lookit that! what is that!? those things look like diamonds! what’s that squiggle how’d she get that squiggle?!” I laughed out loud; my husband came to look but couldn’t figure out what I was laughing at. I said “LOOK! It’s so much fun!”
Fantastic shot.
That’s funny, because your reaction was pretty much exactly the same as mine! I kept zooming into the image wondering, “What’s that?” and “Where did this come from?” and “I didn’t know there was an exit sign up.” Thank you!
yes, this long exposures are perfect experiments to run; you always get a nice result, keep them going!!!
I do believe that flurry of circular white light is from Paul or Colby messing with their iPhones. I told them bright enough light shows up nearly instantly even on prolonged pinhole exposures. Good times and over great food indeed.
revolving bar?
Lazy susan at a dim sum restaurant in chinatown. Suction cup mount was especially helpful. Glad you found me, looking forward to seeing your work at your blog!
Yowzzza, that is fantastic!
