My friend Espresso Buzz wanted to get dim sum one Saturday, so we headed out for Sun Ya. I wanted to experiment with the lazy susans that are on the larger tables and voila!

I have to admit, I am loving these long exposures. Happy shooting this weekend everyone, I look forward to seeing your work! Mahalo.

  1. This is amazing. The longer I look, the more I see. It’s almost like a movie running in my head when I look at it. And I’m very impressed by the perfect exposure too. Great work Jana.
    Do you have more? ;-)
    Have a lovely weekend!

  2. This is wild! I’m sitting here “omigod, lookit that! what is that!? those things look like diamonds! what’s that squiggle how’d she get that squiggle?!” I laughed out loud; my husband came to look but couldn’t figure out what I was laughing at. I said “LOOK! It’s so much fun!”

    Fantastic shot.

    • That’s funny, because your reaction was pretty much exactly the same as mine! I kept zooming into the image wondering, “What’s that?” and “Where did this come from?” and “I didn’t know there was an exit sign up.” Thank you!

  3. I do believe that flurry of circular white light is from Paul or Colby messing with their iPhones. I told them bright enough light shows up nearly instantly even on prolonged pinhole exposures. Good times and over great food indeed.
